Kyrgyzstan
South shore of Issyk-Kul
Aksai village
We highly recommend you to drive at least SUV car. 4x4 is an even better choice as far as the last 13 km are tough gravel.

It takes around 4.5 hours to reach our camp from Bishkek. At first, you put Ak Say village in your navigator. The road until Balykchy is fine and in good condition. There is a Spar shop to have a snack and Gazprom station to fill up your tank if needed in Balykchy. After Balykchy you go 70 km directly to Ak Say village. The first 30 km will be asphalt, 20 km of gravel and 20 of weird asphalt.

Reaching Ak Say you should turn left near the Nurlan shop (there is an old rust billboard with word fest). This is the last and the most beautiful part - only 13 km left. Kindly ask you to follow the Feel Nomad yurt camp signs as far as we still don't have our own. You will go through the canyon of the former river until you reach Issyk-kul. Then you will turn right and follow the last 4 km along the shore.
